About the Role

Ramsay Health Care are leaders in healthcare and a rare opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. As the Chemotherapy Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to be active in a leadership role, including the development and provision of evidence-based clinical nursing, while working and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The opportunity also allows you to facilitate the administration of chemotherapy on the ward, act as a clinical expert, be a professional role model and change agent to promote practice development and quality initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset with the drive to succeed in a ward-based leadership role. Your passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service will be matched by your ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Minimum 3 years’ oncology experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area
  • Demonstrated experience in providing clinical training and assessment
  • Ability to assess, plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality/Continuous Improvement processes
