The Opportunity

Located in Ormiston,Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living is a large retirement living community, home to 200+ independent living units filled with gardens, croquetlawns, bowling green, a workshop, and much more As a Gardener, you will enjoy working closely with staff and residents to ensure all grounds, gardens and common areasarewell-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy.If you enjoy spending time outdoors and being hands-on, we want to hear from you

We have two permanent full-time opportunities available - Monday-Friday 7-3pm.

You will

  • Be responsible for the gardens & grounds, including but not limited to:mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding and leafblowing
  • Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
  • Carry out preventative garden and maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
  • Be a friendly face to the residents and work alongside a fantastic team

What you'll bring

  • Experience in General 'Handyperson' Maintenance, Gardening or Landscapingroles(highly desired)
  • Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
  • Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 doses (required)
