The Role

We're seeking an individual with a solid foundation in bookkeeping and payroll procedures, ideally with experience covering the entire payroll life cycle. As a crucial member of the Corporate Bookkeeping team you'll be immersed in providing essential bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative support to a diverse range of clients.Your eagerness to embrace new challenges, collaborate with team members, and prioritise client satisfaction will be instrumental in this role.

As a Junior Bookkeeper you will be responsible for:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Preparing Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
  • Preparation of basic payroll and terminations
  • Assisting with month end as directed by Seniors

As our new team member, you will have:

  • Qualifications in Bookkeeping or Accounting will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in Professional Services or Private Accounting Practice settings is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with hands-on experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Self-Driven and results oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
