Michael Page is partnering with a leader in the FinTech space who are shaking up the investment industry. My client is a diverse investment fund delivering outstanding results. Our client is located in Melbourne's CBD. The role offers a hybrid working environment, sits within a supportive team environment and encourages learning & development. The role will require an ASAP start with the opportunity to transition to something more permanent.

Job Description

The Investment Operations Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Administration of corporate action documents
  • Reconciliations asset transfers, of all trades, positions, cash, dividends, orders and stock transfers (Daily)
  • On-boarding new accounts
  • Reconciling income tax
  • Liaise with other departments
  • User acceptance testing for system upgrades
  • Process improvement initiatives
  • Equity transfers and liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Liaise and work closely with brokers to achieve the execution of orders for managed funds, EFT's, securities and international securities

The Successful Applicant

The Candidate will be/have:

  • Relevant Tertiary Degree
  • Relevant experience within Investment Ops or otherwise keen and eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Immediately Available or available at short notice
