Our client, a leader in the insurance space in the Australian market, is currently seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their dynamic Product Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in modernising a large-scale legacy system, driving innovation, and mentoring a team of dedicated engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modernise Legacy Systems: Lead the incremental migration from a .NET Framework monolithic system to a responsive, web-based front-end architecture.
- Full Stack Development: Design, code, test, and maintain applications using modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Svelte) and back-end technologies (.NET Core, AWS).
- Collaboration and Mentoring: Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams, providing mentorship and guidance to upskill team members.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and embrace DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Cloud-Native Architecture: Contribute to the transition towards a cloud-native architecture, leveraging AWS serverless services for enhanced scalability and performance.
- Strong experience with .NET stack and C#.
- Proficiency in front-end development with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Svelte.
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and Key-Value stores (SQL Server, DynamoDB, Redis).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and containerisation tools.
- Understanding of SDLC processes, SOLID principles, OOP, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy).
- Experience with observability tools (DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Passion for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to write clear, detailed technical documentation.
- Enthusiastic about mentoring and developing team members.
