We are seeking a Marketing Manager who will be instrumental in leading our marketing strategy and elevating the prestigious InterContinental brand within the vibrant Melbourne market. This role involves steering our brand positioning across accommodations, dining, and event services, ensuring alignment with both market demands and our heritage of luxury.
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan to enhance revenue streams across accommodations, dining, and events.
- Analyze market trends and business performance to maximize commercial effectiveness.
- Leverage relationships with the IHG Regional Marketing team and utilize IHG programmes to drive product awareness and guest retention.
- Maintain and enhance our brand's distinguished positioning, ensuring it resonates with targeted demographics and represents Melbourne's quintessential culture.
What we need from you
- You have 1-3 years of experience in Marketing Communications, preferably in the hospitality or luxury sector.
- A storyteller at heart, with fantastic communication skills and a knack for crafting compelling content across various media.
- You possess a creative flair, with the ability to think outside the box and a passion for delivering engaging social media content.
- A strategic thinker with proven ability to influence marketing strategy and a detailed understanding of both online and offline marketing channels.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to manage projects from conception to execution.
- Available to work flexible hours and hold unrestricted working rights in Australia.
