This role is integral to our Retail Leadership Team and will be a driving force in shaping and delivering our Customer, Brand, and Retail Strategies across all touchpoints within our portfolio across Australia & New Zealand.
About the role:
- Customer Strategy: Ownership and execution of the customer strategy; delivering through excellence in leadership, building teams and developing culture, and delivering consistent brand and consumer experience across the network
- Growth: Devise strategies to continue customer acquisition and grow market share within our competitor set
- Performance Lead Culture: Driving a results-focussed, customer-centric mindset within our team
- Collaboration: Leverage key stakeholdersin merchandise, marketing, VM, People & culture and other areas to achieve results to maximise performance
- Leadership: Develop, coach and mentor retail leaders, define and own the training and succession modelling in partnership with P&C team
Alquemie Group Head Office is based in Alexandria, Sydney. Frequent travel interstate and to New Zealand is crucial to the success of this role.
About you:
- You are a Senior Retail Leader, with extensive (10+ years) multisite experience in a similar brand environment
- You are a true retailer – on the floor, front facing and in mindset and actions, while also being a strategic thinker and always driving new ways to grow.
- You are an excellent communicator and can inspire, influence and challenge those around you.
- You’re hungry to actively seek and take on feedback.
- You are eager to share knowledge and bring passion to your team
- You are able to be objective and look at both sides
- You’re commercial and constantly looking at ways to drive more customers into our stores and more sales in the doors
- You are courageous and curious and always looking to challenge the status quo
