$55 – $58 per hour (including casual loading)

RUD Chains Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focussed casual Nightshift Boilermaker to start immediately at our Head Office at Larapinta QLD 4110. 

Initially you would be required to work dayshift for 2-3 weeks, then you would transition to the nightshift team. 

Dayshift: Mon – Thurs 6.30am to 3pm + Fri 6.30am to 12.30pm = (38 hrs p/w)

About the Role’s

As a highly experienced Boilermaker you will be responsible for the production of quality products, welding/fabrication of items and modifications. You will be working within a busy workshop and be allocated specific tasks according to the current projects which include lifting beams and attachments, transport frames, heavy vehicle hoists and conveyors.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawing (assembly & sub-assembly process)
  • High quality welding to the AS – 1554.1 (SP) and fabrication
  • Trade Qualified Cert III Engineering – Fabrication - minimum 3 years post trade experience
  • Competent in MIG welding, TIG – advantageous - carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium
  • Forklift or Dogman High Risk license– advantageous
  • Current working rights for Australia with no restrictions
