Flinders Private Hospital is seeking experienced perioperative scrub / scout Registered or Enrolled Nurses to join our team.We perform a broad range of specialties, including Orthopaedic, General, Colorectal, Bariatric, Neurosurgery, Urology, Plastics and Robotic surgery, offering you an exciting opportunity to branch out into different specialty areas.

Flinders Private Hospital operating suite is comprised of 9 Theatres and 1 Procedure Room and operates electively over a 6 day week.

· South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance

· Current and unrestricted AHPRA Registration

· Two years’ minimum experience as a Registered Nurse in Recovery and willingness to learn new specialties

· Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures

· Ability to manage risk

· Sound knowledge of Peri-Operative ACORN standards and current legislation

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills

· Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands

· Committed to ongoing professional development and learning

· Candidates must hold Australian or NZ citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the “Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch – Nurses’ & Midwives – Enterprise Agreement – 2021-2024 (‘Agreement’ or ‘Enterprise Agreement’)” (salaries range between $35.69 - $48.80 per hour).
