Head of Information Security

Joining GBST means you will be part of a global leader in financial services technology. We are a forward-thinking business, delivering innovative wealth management solutions to enable, support and scale wealth management and advice to some of the largest financial services organisations in the world.
This role will work closely with the Executive team and business stakeholders to drive our security strategy and initiatives across GBST. You will be overseeing and evolving an Information Security program and ensuring continuous improvement of GBST’s cyber security posture. As an experienced Information Security professional, you will hit the ground running and be a leading voice in the direction of security policies, procedures and standards. In addition, you will be drawing on your strong interpersonal skills to influence and coach other team members, so we are keen to hear how you have utilised these skills to achieve valuable results.
Job DescriptionTake a look if you can:
- Lead and evolve our information security strategy and practices both operationally and from an application security perspective
- Continue to build capability in delivering a mature security posture
- Guide our global team to implement our strategy, including supporting the implementation of new practices
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide data and recommendations to help our Executive team make informed decisions on information security risks
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in information security planning, management and program implementation
- Qualifications in IT preferably with security management certification
- Experience developing and implementing information security governance processes
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience working with external auditors and security partners
- An understanding of Agile and SDLC environments, in the context of information security.
