In this role you will oversee our production and operational activities across all business units and provide production strategy support to the General Manager
Key responsibilities will include;
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all manufacturing and production activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of orders.
- Optimize production processes, workflows, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure seamless production execution and adherence to customer requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the production facility and warehouse.
- Manage budgets and costs to ensure production operates efficiently and profitably.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for employees.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using relevant software and systems for inventory management and production tracking.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance within the workplace.
