A restaurant in Blackmans Bay, just outside of Hobart, is seeking a kitchenhand to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.
- Ensure the kitchen is tidy and organized.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
