The Company
Our client is a small to medium sized, well established, Structural Engineering company that has been specialising in Concrete Strengthening and Remedial Building works for the last 10 years. They have been providing Structural Concrete Repair, Cathodic Protection and Carbon Fibre Strengthening services across NSW, VIC, WA and plan on continued growth across Australia.
 
The Role
Due to continued company growth, our client currently has an exciting role as a Site Supervisor working out of their Sydney office. This is a working Site Supervisor role and will require your involvement on the tools assisting the crew from time to time. The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience as a Site Supervisor in Concrete Strengthening (Carbon Fibre Strengthening) and Remedial Building works. Leading Hands or Senior Tradesman from Concrete Strengthening and Remedial Building works will also be considered.
 
This is a site based role, and will be covering projects across the Greater Sydney Area. You will be reporting directly into a Project Manager and on some occasions the NSW Operations Manager. Your main responsibilities are to positively lead a small crew of internal trades and labour staff, the successful delivery of your allocated project/s, and supervision of sub-contractors. 
 
 
What are we looking for?

  • Essential - Minimum 3+ years’ local (Australia) experience as a Site Supervisor running Concrete Strengthening (Carbon Fibre) and Remedial Building projects
  • Essential Experience - All aspects of Concrete Strengthening and Remedial Building - Carbon Fibre Strengthening, Concrete Repair, Concrete Cancer, Protective Coatings, Waterproofing
  • Essential - A Site Supervisor that is fine with working on the tools from time to time, a Working Site Supervisor 
  • Desired, not essential - A relevant Trade background in Waterproofing or Carpentry or Brick Laying
  • Ability to lead and motivate crews of workers
  • Quality communication skills as you will be working with multiple stakeholders including - Internal staff, engineers, occupants (on residential projects), and subcontractors
  • Work with integrity and dedication to forge strong relationships
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
