About the role
Our Joondalup Residential Aged Care Home is seeking a dedicatedBusiness Manager to lead a diverse team, from administration staffto cooks, ensuring everything runs smoothly so our clinical teamcan deliver exceptional patient care. This position offers you thechance to make impactful changes and build a culture of excellenceand dedication within our organisation.
As the Business Manager, you will inspire, coach, and mentoryour team, fostering a high-performing and collaborativeenvironment. You will work closely with the Service Manager andClinical Nurse Manager to develop workforce plans, manage staffcontracts, and ensure compliance with care minute obligations. Yourrole will involve implementing successful recruitment and retentionstrategies to meet workforce needs, along with overseeing budgets,planning, rostering, and reporting to maintain operationalexcellence.

With strong business skills (budgets, planning,rostering, and reports), you’ll love getting to know yourteam and drawing out their best qualities.
About you
You will build strong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, and participatein continuous improvement processes. While also possessing:
- Significant experience in a similar role or a Diploma inBusiness (or similar)
- Strong organizational, planning, and business skills
- Proven leadership and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but notrequired
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
