About the Role

Elevate your career with a renowned leader in landscape maintenance. We're currently seeking Garden Maintenance Team Leaders to join our team, focusing on the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting and hedging
  • Manage team members, provide training and coordinate tasks efficiently
  • Maintain detailed daily reports on activities undertaken
  • Safely apply herbicides using backpack sprayers
  • Ensure meticulous care and handling of equipment
  • Contribute effectively to landscaping projects as needed
  • Uphold a safe and organised work environment
  • Foster transparent communication with team members and clients
  • Ensure timely completion of necessary documentation such as risk assessments, SWMS and timesheets

About You
  • Previous experience in the commercial landscape industry
  • Qualification in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture is desirable
  • Possession of a valid manual driver's licence is essential
  • Physical fitness, reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic are key
  • Prior experience in team leadership or supervision is preferred
  • National Police Check required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Work with Children Check required (or willingness to obtain)
