We are currently recruiting for an experienced leasing Paralegal to support the growth of our hugely successful, market leading leasing practice. As a member of our award-winning, fun and dynamic team you will have the opportunity to work alongside Partner Max Cameron on complex and high volume leasing matters across commercial, industrial and retail sectors.

You will be able to successfully manage high volume and high quality leasing work through managing your own files and be responsible for preparing, negotiating and progressing clients' leases. You will deal directly with clients and conduct negotiations with our clients' tenants and their lawyers.

What You Need

We welcome applications from candidates who have:

• previous leasing experience in a busy, high volume role
• an understanding of retail lease issues and the applicable legislation
• an ability to draft and work both under close supervision and autonomously
• exceptional client service skills and responsiveness
• a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work
• an interest in contributing to process improvement and systems
• the initiative and drive to take ownership of your matters and client portfolios
• strong IT and systems skills
• exceptional time management and organisational skills and
• a proactive approach and positive attitude.

Our Team

Our national Real Estate team is one of the largest and most diverse property practices in Australia. We advise major institutional property investors, developers, landlords and tenants on all aspects of commercial, industrial, retail and residential property including capital transactions (acquisitions and disposals), large scale developments, major projects, retirement living and leasing.

Our leasing practice is a core part of our Real Estate business and our impressive stable of leasing clients includes Abacus, CBA, Charter Hall, Cromwell, Dexus, GPT, IP Generation, ISPT, Lendlease, Mirvac, RetPro, Stockland, Vicinity Centres and Woolworths amongst others. In these roles role you will be part of a large and supportive team of high performing lawyers and paralegals, with additional support from the legal support team. You will deal directly with our major clients on a daily basis to manage your own files.
