We are currently working with a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions dedicated to improving patient care and clinical outcomes, committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the medical industry and empower healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Position Overview
They are seeking a talented Business Analyst with a strong background in the medical or clinical sector to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Health Level 7 (HL7), healthcare application integrations, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Design and implement integration strategies for healthcare applications, ensuring interoperability and data exchange standards compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards, providing guidance and expertise to the development team.
- Facilitate communication between business users, IT professionals, and vendors to ensure alignment of objectives and successful project delivery.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users to maximize the utilisation of healthcare technologies and tools.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the medical or clinical sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7), FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with healthcare application integrations and EMR systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
- Certification in Business Analysis or relevant field is a plus.
