Working in a supportive team you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and recommending new development opportunities that will enable Landcom to grow its pipeline of new projects across NSW. This includes acting as a deal lead in identifying opportunities and building strong partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders across government and the private sector. 
 

Key responsibilities


• Identifying new acquisitions and or partnerships, contributing to a solid pipeline of new projects.
• Sourcing and converting commercial engagements and opportunities into investment-approved projects to provide both long and short-term pipeline of metropolitan and regional NSW. 
• Anticipating, managing and mitigating project risk at a senior level, including forecast risk, reputational management and operational risk.
• Managing innovative transaction structuring, which includes financing and delivery strategies, and transaction execution. 
• Developing team members, including reviewing performance, fostering ongoing professional development, and ensuring staff have the knowledge, skills and support to achieve their work performance objectives. 


About the you


Ideally you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in property development/investment, management, property economics or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of complex acquisition and development projects.
• Solid experience in feasibility analysis, including identification of land development opportunities, market analysis, contract negotiation and administration, land planning and rezoning, stakeholder and community consultation, and delivering development outcomes.
• Extensive working knowledge of property and land development processes, marketing and selling activities, contract administration, planning, zoning guidelines and design procedures. 
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation, training, interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
