The Position:

The LCL Import & Export Execution Manager supports the Import and Export team to deliver a superior Customer experience to our Maersk Logistics & Services customers.

Job Description:

  • Team Management: Day-to-day team management and spokesman of the Import/Export team and responsible for the team capacity management. Support and coach team members in their day-to-day job and be the point of contact for any operational quickly and effectively.
  • Network Relationship: Actively build strong relationships within Maersk network, by liaising with regional and Central teams to align on our standard business processes, service needs, drivers and global requirements
  • Customer Experience: Own customer experience and lead the team to achieve best-in-class Customer Service.
  • Process execution: Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment by working closely with all stakeholders internal and external.
  • Standard Adherence: Adhering to processes in line with the agreed execution standards and customer specific IOP’s and monitor respective KPI’s. Business growth: Identify and execute upselling opportunities, as well as drive through the network and collaborate with product teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Ocean import and export end to end process knowledge.
  • Cargowise knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in handling & processing dangerous goods/Hazardous export shipments- DG qualified inc DG Hub and Ships lodgement experience.
  • Experience in Trans Tasman Trade would be a bonus.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and toown a taskfrom beginning to end.
  • Willingness toadapt and can embrace change.
  • Good people leadership skills.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills.
  • Ability to engage and link multiple parties across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to understand and interpret performance data.

Preferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check. Where applicable, background checks including Employment History and Education History (including Qualifications) may be required.
