A national specialist contractor with offices across Australia, this company is leading the industry in engineered environmental and water treatment solutions.

The company’s in-house capability to design, engineer and deliver site-specific solutions allows for custom built plants unique to each customer’s specific water treatment challenges.

Position summary

We are seeking a Pre-Contracts Engineer (Water Treatment) to join the companies growing Water Division based in Sydney.

This integral role will be instrumental in the conversion of project opportunities into successful project awards.

Working closely with a team of highly experienced, motivated and talented individuals, we are looking for someone with strong initiative and drive to maximise the increasing national market opportunities that are developing.

Specific responsibilities

  • Managing and producing Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
  • Proposal development and technical support for a range of water treatment systems.
  • Working closely with the Design Manager and Proposals Manager to ensure compelling proposals are thoroughly prepared and professionally produced.
  • Managing tender or proposal from concept design phase through to handover
  • Utilising the in-house resources of design engineers to develop proposals

Required experience

  • Previous experience in a pre-contracts or project management capacity within the water & wastewater treatment sector
  • Tertiary Engineering Degree (Chemical, Process, Mechanical)
