Our client is an industry leading, Award Winning Electrical Contractor highly regarded for their commitment to industry, customer focus and safety-first attitude. Based from Brisbane's inner suburbs, this large team of industry experts specialise in electrical engineering and contracting services. Due to new project opportunities secured with Tier One builders, we are seeking a new Project Supervisor to join the Construction Division.

Primary Objective
The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge and experience in new construction projects, demonstrating a successful track record in leading the delivery of multi million-dollar electrical projects.

This position will be site based on a new development in Brisbane's Inner Suburbs, where you will manage the delivery of a multi residential tower, over $10M electrical.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a site team including foreman, leading hands, tradespersons and apprentices
  • Ensure projects are proactively managed, executed according to the project plan, schedule and budget, as well as assisting in the resolution of issues;
  • Building & solidifying strong relationships with the builder and subcontractors on site
  • Forecast and program project resources, including labour schedules and equipment;
  • Measure productivity and delivery schedules on theproject
  • Lead a safety first and quality focused team culture

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this position will bring previous experience leading a team to deliver large electrical projects.

The successful candidate will bring the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience as Supervisor, Site Manager or Electrical Project Manager
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with people at all levels including internal and external customers, industry suppliers and stakeholders;
  • Lead by example, driving a safety-first culture, company values and standards;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, provide mentorship and share knowledge in a clear and concise manner;
  • Demonstrate a willingness to assist project teams at times rolling up your sleeves to help.
