We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data & Analytics Lead to drive our supply chain transformation project. This pivotal role involves data discovery, solution design, quality measurement, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain functions and domains, coupled with the ability to translate user stories into detailed data and analytics requirements. The Data & Analytics Lead will work collaboratively across various teams to ensure data quality and drive the successful implementation of transformative solutions.

Let's Talk About the Role

Data Discovery and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough data discovery to identify key data sources and understand the current data landscape.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements from a data readiness perspective.

  • Identify business processes and respective process owners related to the creation/maintenance of critical data elements.

Requirements Detailing, User Stories, and Solution Design:

  • Translate high-level business requirements and user stories into detailed data and analytics requirements.

  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete requirement specifications.

  • Validate that proposed solutions meet business needs and user expectations.

  • Design robust data and analytics solutions to address identified business needs and challenges.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with overall project goals.

Quality Measurement and Data Integrity:

  • Establish and implement data quality metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of data solutions.

  • Monitor data quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and resolving data issues promptly.

  • Measure plan quality in terms of demand supportability and plan recommendation stability.

  • Implement best practices for data governance and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Data Issue Resolution:

  • Identify root causes of data-related issues and develop strategies to resolve them.

  • Identify system and process improvements to prevent data quality issues.

  • Work with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and rectify data discrepancies and inconsistencies.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for issue resolution processes and procedures.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work across different supply chain functions (e.g., procurement, logistics, inventory management) to ensure cohesive data and analytics strategies.

  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to drive alignment and integration of data solutions.

  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding.

  • Proven experience in data analysis, data management, and analytics within supply chain functions.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain domains and processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve data-related issues efficiently.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into detailed data and analytics specifications.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of data governance best practices and industry standards.
