Join the Western Renewables Link (WRL) Project Management Office and support all streams throughout the project lifecycle. The WRL is a critical transmission infrastructure initiative designed to unlock the renewable energy potential of western Victoria, establishing it as a key Renewable Energy Zone. This project will play a vital role in delivering clean and affordable energy to all Victorians.
As the Senior Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a landmark project that promotes sustainability and innovation. Your efforts will directly impact the development of renewable energy infrastructure, ensuring a greener future for Victoria.
With a 3/2 Hybrid split Office/ WFH , this role is based in Melbourne CBD and is part of the Western Renewables Link project team, Development & Future Networks team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Contributing to the fast-paced project you will be a lynchpin in ensuring deadlines are met by receiving and issuing documentation in-line with WRL’s Document Control processes and procedures.
- Maintain Aconex (document management system) on a daily basis ensuring all records and correctly stored, issued and received Work across multiple sub-projects within WRL including embedded Sydenham Terminal Station Rebuild project.
- Management of vendor/supplier data.
- Governance of, and support to the project team with, the storage of project records and documentation, using the corporate and Project electronic document management systems.
- Assist in the review and development of Document Control Work Instructions and Procedures.
- Provide new starter and refresher to the project team ensuring document control processes are followed and understood.
- Document Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) checking to ensure the format is to project standards.
- Ensure that all handover documents are to AusNet and Client requirements.
- Assist with generating project specific reports from Aconex or nominated document management system.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Proven experience in Document Control.
- Demonstrated understanding of document lifecycles and document management systems including Aconex and SharePoint.
- Understanding of Information, Records and Document Control principles within a project environment.
- Ability to work with confidential information and records whilst maintaining discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and demonstrated effectiveness handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, managing timeframes and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Good knowledge of research techniques, project systems and procedures.
- Good understanding of the processes of project management and the role of project client.
- Ability to interpret and analyse information relating to the executive offices.
