Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM)
The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services. The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability.
The Opportunity:
Professional Engineer nominally with Logistics Engineering experience, with background in Mechanical Systems, or Combat Systems, or Communication Systems, to deliver engineering services for the CLCM contract.
The Engineer will provide mentorship to fellow Engineers and review engineering deliverables within the scope of CLCM activities as identified to support engineering change.
The Engineer will work collaboratively and provide guidance to all stakeholders on technical matters including but not limited to LSA, Maintenance Requirements Determination, and Reliability Centred Maintenance on the PBS.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for engineering matters within your Systems specialisation.
Relying on your Logistics Engineering Analysis skills, provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to Senior Engineers. - Reviewing engineering design task deliverables and conducting associated technical design reviews.
- Work within the requirements of Navy Seaworthiness Framework and the ACSSPO Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO).
- Perform activities within technical delegation as required by the ACSSPO Principal Engineer (PE)
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, advice, and direction to support the business unit.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Eligible to obtain Engineering Delegation Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation
- Experience with Requirements Development, Design Review and Acceptance within a regulated technical framework, example Department of Defence
- Minimum of 5 years related experience, with typically experience ranging from 5-10 years
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Defence security clearance or higher
- Must be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems
- Experience in RAM analysis
