Position Summary:

As a pivotal member of our team, the CFO plays a vital role in advancing the values and objectives of GCLA. This position is dedicated to ensuring the effective and efficient management of our operational finances through robust accounting and financial practices while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial advice to the Board and CEO.
• Support cohesive working relationships.
• Oversee insurances and contracts.
• Implement efficient financial and corporate management systems.
• Coordinate department budgets and audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and legislation.
• Manage cash flow and identify saving opportunities.
• Champion safety leadership.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Represent GCLA with external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Strategic financial leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
