As our sustained growth continues, we are looking for a proven Senior Services Manager to join our team. You will have strong project management expertise with commercial construction projects and leading the delivery of building services design, installation, and commissioning. We are a fast-paced and growing company, looking for passionate people that thrive on success and take pride in the quality of their work. What you'll do:
- Lead the delivery of cost-effective services construction for multiple concurrent sites per each project's design and delivery brief
- Drive compliance across all sites' safety, quality, design, authority and building code requirements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to procure services consultants and subcontractors
- Deliver on client requirements via services packages in all head and subcontracts
- Ensure that all project documentation meets brief and procurement requirements
- Pursue application of relevant green building / sustainability rating requirements
- Project manage work of subcontractors for installation of services packages
- Oversee programs / job plans, adjusting as required to meet the schedule
- Create and manage services design and pertaining procurement program
- Govern rectification of issues raised by external and internal stakeholders
- Manage assessment of sub-contractor claims and recommend approval
- Delegate supervision of services defects rectification by subcontractors
- Monitor monthly reporting for services installation progress
- Actively identify new technologies for improving operations
What you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent trade background
- 10 to 15+ years' relevant industry experience in building services construction management
- Extensive Tier 1 or 2 builder experience on large building construction projects
- Capacity to lead multiple concurrent construction sites in a portfolio of projects
- Sound practical experience with the NCC / BCA, relevant building services requirements and building / construction trades
- High level expertise with managing and coordinating services subcontractors / consulting engineers
- Extensive knowledge of quality and safety requirements for construction projects
- Great track record with pursuits as part of the bidding process
- Strong planning, project management, client management, negotiation, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
