The Opportunity:

You will be based at a dynamic retail sub-regional shopping centre with over 70+ tenants across a fresh food precinct, food court, services, variety, fashion, medical and office suites. We seek an experienced and dedicated Centre Manager to help steer an on-site team and ensure the Centre is managed stably and continuously. The Centre is well-known and frequented within the local community plus office workers and offers a multi-cultural environment which is vibrant and friendly. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Centre's daily operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for shoppers and tenants.
  • Manage tenant relations, including resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
  • Ensure the Centre is maintained to the best of its capacity, in accordance with budgets and the age of its assets.
  • Manage budgets, arrears, financial reports, and expenditures to maximise profitability.
  • Lead and mentor a staff team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:

We require a confident and resilient Centre Manager who can offer the following

  • Exposure to managing older assets built in the 1980s is advantageous
  • Maturity to provide stable leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Familiarity with property management and marketing skillsets and processes.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and handle multiple tasks unflappably.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with tenants, contractors and suppliers.
