Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Develop and implement robust financial systems and processes that ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive accounts for the business.
- Team Building: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team capable of supporting our growth trajectory.
- Profit Maximisation: Provide live Profit & Loss (P&L) information to enable operational teams to deliver maximum profit.
- Cashflow Management: Deliver detailed cashflow forecasts to ensure the financial stability and liquidity of the company.
- Management Accounting: Oversee all aspects of management accounting, providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Growth Strategy: Play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s growth strategy, ensuring financial readiness for scaling from 3 to 100 locations.
- Experience: Proven track record as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the hospitality or retail industry.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of financial systems, management accounting, and cashflow forecasting. Experience with live P&L reporting is essential.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on driving profitability and supporting business growth.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire and develop a finance team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or similar professional qualification is highly desirable.
- M&A Background: Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions, with the ability to identify and execute strategic opportunities.
