About the role 

The role of Coating Supervisor leads a dynamic team, whilst overseeing adherence to stringent project standards and procedures, guaranteeing the highest levels of performance and compliance. Your ability to foster strong client relationships will be paramount as you navigate the complexities of the industry, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, while also championing the development of our workforce. 

• Inspect, review and direct all painting and blasting works for the defense project
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of project standards, specifications, procedures, and communicate them to members of the work force
• Review project program and completion schedule and delegate activities for the day-to-day direction of schedule requirements
• Establishing and maintaining effective communications with the Company’s representatives, Project Manager and field staff to ensure close and good working relationships are established and maintained
• The position supervises work teams to ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.

About you 

• Extensive on-site experience within the energy, mining, and/or construction sectors, preferably spanning 5 years or more
• Previous experience (5 years minimum) in a similar role in the marine, construction, oil and gas, or mining and resources industry
• Coating Inspection qualifications such as NACE CIP 2 
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong written communication skills, capable of preparing comprehensive work reports and job instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders involved in operations.
