Sulzer Australia is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Field Services team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Maitland, NSW. Role Highlights:- Lead technical overhauls of steam and gas turbines on-site
- Provide expert guidance to site teams during overhaul practices
- Assist in outage planning and management
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless operations
- Travel opportunities throughout APAC region
- Perform fact-finding and condition assessments on turbine components
- Prepare HSEQ documentation and assist with outage planning
- Advise on tooling requirements and assist with preparations
- Support outage scheduling and estimation processes
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Prepare detailed reports post-overhaul activities
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Gas or Steam Turbines
- Completed OEM backed training on turbines
- Extensive knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance practices
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Experience in large maintenance outages and commissioning projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
