We are currently recruiting for an experienced aQuarry Manager to lead the team at our Wollert Quarry inVictoria.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is a multi-faceted roleleading the quarry and overseeing the daily management of the operation (including drying plant &clean fill operations), including production, continuous improvement,health & safety, logistics and full P&L responsibility.
In your new role, you will be:
- Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals.
- Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, budgeting, and managing costs within budget.
- Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Focused on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry and community as a responsible and sustainable partner.
- Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others.
This role is a great fit for you, if:
- You are an experienced quarry manager/supervisor with relevant industry qualifications.
- Have leadership experience.
- An ability to support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning.
