Northfleet is the largest all in one most established Hire / Transport / Crane Business in the Pilbara.

Our BDM’s are the face of our business, the BDMs are not only expected to get the Business in the first place, but more importantly you are the person the customer relies on, and trust’s to deliver what Northfleet say’s we will. Northfleet’s responsibility to you, is to give you all the training and know how you will need, plus all the tools required so you are able to not only offer the best service, but the best Vehicles and Equipment too.

To do all this we obviously need the best people. Not someone that just can talk a lot, but someone that understands our clients needs while also getting the best out of your support team within Northfleet.

PLEASE NOTE – THIS IS STRICTLY A RESIDENTIAL ROLE RESIDING IN KARRATHA, though either Port Hedland and Newman is also acceptable.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with customers to ensure we are suppling the best service in the industry
  • Creating and implementing sales strategies and identifying new markets for opportunities
  • Proactively identify, pursue and acquire new business and increase sales 
  • Meet and aim to exceed business KPI’s and sales targets
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting and maintain quarterly and annual sales quotas for the region 
  • Attend client events, meetings, appointments, and conferences
  • Oversee the company’s marketing strategy
  • Provide feedback to management on customer proposals, sales data, forecasts and profitability 
  • Reporting to our General Manager of Sales.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience in business sales, marketing, or related field
  • Demonstrated track record of success in the sales cycle from plan to close
  • Be willing to travel regularly and work irregular and long hours
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build solid working relationships
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
  • Solid negotiation and influencing capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous exposure to the hire industry or transport and logistics is advantageous 
  • MC driver’s licence, essential to be able to deliver vehicles to customers
