The Technology and Systems Delivery PMO is a high performing group of project delivery professional who support the strategic goals of Translink by delivering a program of transformational projects that leverage technology to create better business and customer outcomes.

In this role you will work within a multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for initiating and managing transformation projects (medium to high complexity), including engagement with key business and technical stakeholders, facilitating scope definition, and developing the required project products, facilitating organisation change management, and tracking of milestones and costs.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
Project Initiation
• Establishing new projects, including registers, templates, repositories, and tools.
• Develop initial project plans and schedules for new initiatives and following the Initiation Stage, continue to project manage or hand over to other project managers.
Project Management
• Plan, manage and deliver the project activities and resources to achieve the required outcomes within the project timeframes and budget with high standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management, the PMO Director, PMO Controls and Assurance Manager and the Delivery Manager.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, priorities, progress to milestones and budget, conflicts and provide regular and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place for the project including Project Boards updates to the Technology & Strategy Board and gating requirements.
• Manage third party vendors as required to ensure delivery of services/products to standards and time frames acceptable to the Project Board.

Requirements of the role
• Have 3 years + Project Management Office experience working across multi disciplinary teams with conflicting priorities.
• PRINCE2, Agile or other relevant Project Management certification.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project Server/Online.
• Portfolio/program experience in business transformation with significant IT components.
• Experience in vendor management.
