About Us: Sweatychair is a rather weird game development studio committed to creating innovative and captivating gaming experiences. As pioneers in the industry, we are seeking a talented Unity Game Developer to join our passionate team, the game you will be working on is Tingus Goose and its sequel. We are a fast-paced development studio with a 2-week release cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality Unity-based games that align with Sweatychair's vision.
  • Transform creative concepts into functional and scalable code, ensuring an exceptional player experience.
  • Implement and optimize game features, mechanics, and systems in collaboration with designers and artists.
  • Conduct thorough performance and memory optimization to enhance overall game stability and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with the art team to integrate assets seamlessly and maintain a cohesive visual style.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing insights to enhance Sweatychair's game development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Unity Game Developer.
  • Proficient in C# with a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Solid understanding of game physics, animation, and 3D graphics.
  • Expertise in Unity3D, including Unity UI, assets bundles, and material shaders.
  • Experience with multiplayer and networking concepts in game development.
  • Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous contributions to successful game titles released on multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge of other game engines or development frameworks.
  • Passion for pushing the boundaries of game development and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.
