This Marketing Coordinator role sits within the RSL Art Union powerhouse that is responsible for Australia’s biggest Prize Home Lottery Joining a talented, driven and collaborative team of marketers, this position will focus on membership retention, reporting in to the Marketing Manager-Retention and working in partnership with the Non-VIP customer and Acquisition teams, to maximise revenue and customer growth efficiently.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- VIP first- We are responsible for maximising our VIP subscriber numbers as well as keeping them as members. Creativity and strategic thinking are key
- Creative ideas- Contributing to the creative strategy for owned channels to sell the dream of winning a prize home to our key audiences
- Data mindset- We are commercial for a cause and everything we do needs to drive revenue for our veterans. You will need to be comfortable using sales data tools such as Power BI to analyse campaign performance and support decision making and reporting
- Attention to detail -We work in a highly regulated industry so attention to detail is a must. Eagle eyes need to review all of our communications to ensure they match the exact description of our prizes as well as using appropriate language for regulatory purposes
- Team work- Building and nurturing a peer network of trusted partnerships and working collaboratively to contribute to the primary objective of maximising revenue growth efficiently
- Regulatory compliance- Responsible for ensuring that assigned activity complies with internal policies and procedures including data security, legal and compliance and brand
What’s required to succeed:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related fields
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer marketing focussed role for a consumer organisation.
- Proven ability to develop effective direct marketing campaigns with accountability of implementation from ideation to execution.
- Strategic and analytic orientation, with a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data insights.
- Proven track record of successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in campaign planning and delivery through the following channels is advantageous: Email, Mail, Owned Social Media and SMS.
