We put people at the centre of everything we do. Through individualised, local, community-based support we remove barriers, increase life choices, and empower people to have meaningful relationships and connections.

The Opportunity:

Working with our Community Client who resides in Melbourne CBD, near Flagstaff train station, as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

Shift times:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday and Sunday

  • 6.30pm - 10.30pm

Must be available to work all 5 days.

*Please note there is limited on street parking, must be flexible to take public transport*

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Australian Drivers Licence (P2 minimum), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Able to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, night (active or passive)
