Do you want to be a part of a dynamic, growing team that delivers cutting-edge IT solutions to top-tier businesses across Australia and New Zealand?

Are you passionate about enterprise IT and its potential to help clients develop a competitive advantage in today’s evolving markets?

If so, we’d love to have you join us on our growth journey as a Business Development Manager at Canon Business Services ANZ.

What you’ll do

This is a field-based role, in which you’ll be supported by an experienced team that includes cross-functional and lead generation support.

As a Business Development Manager at CBS, you’ll be held accountable to:

  • Achieving your gross profit sales target and agreed-upon KPIs
  • Prospecting to—and winning—new strategic business opportunities within our 'ideal customer’ segment
  • Managing your sales pipeline to quickly nurture prospects into new customers
  • Creating, implementing, and executing sales plans
  • Maintaining and demonstrating both a commercial and technical understanding of Microsoft products and services in a way that appeals to a broad customer audience
  • Managing and delivering on sales activities—including prospecting, meetings, client qualifications, presentations, quoting, and proposal submission—in a timely, professional manner

Who you are

Your strong written, verbal, and presentation skills give you the gravitas and professionalism needed to collaborate directly with ‘C-level’ clients at nationally recognised organisations. Your past exposure to enterprise IT gives you a strong understanding of its sales cycles—but more importantly, your attitude and appetite to succeed drive you to delve deeply into this space in order to help clients optimise, automate, and transform their IT infrastructures.

In return, you’ll join a multinational company with a team-orientated culture that’ll look after you with training, development, progression, promotion, recognition, and reward opportunities. You’ll have all the tools and support you need to grow, bring your ideas to life, and achieve success by supporting clients’ business and digital transformation goals.

What you’ll earn

In addition to a base salary and bonus potential, you may have access to:

  • Flexible working arrangements, where possible.
  • Training and development opportunities to help you bring your goals to life
  • Wellbeing benefits, including everything from discounted health insurance to flu vaccines to confidential counselling.
  • Performance Recognition, in the form of quarterly and annual awards programs for high-performers.
  • Bonus Leave, including:
    • Birthday leave, to celebrate, relax or do something special.
    • Canon Day, an extra day of leave during the Christmas holidays.
    • Kyosei Day, or volunteer leave to take a paid day off to do good in your community.
  • Milestone recognition on your work anniversaries in the form of carbon credits, merchandise, or retirement fund rewards.
  • Discounted Canon products, offered at a significant savings.
  • Education assistance to support the cost of any external training that gives you new skills for your job.
  • An employee referral scheme that rewards you for recommending good candidates

Eligibility for specific benefits and perks may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Canon Group and the country where you work.
