Associate Director (Portfolio Management) – Property Fund

Our client

FourQuarters have been engaged to partner one of Australias best performing real estate investment managers with a proven track record in debt and equity investing.

The role

This position is will play a pivotal role in the execution of Real Estate Debt & Equity Investments, whilst managing and mitigating risks within our clients property portfolio, ensuring the long-term success and stability of our investments.

Key responsibilities.

  • Key role in the coverage of existing clients property transactions
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies specific to the property portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments on existing and potential property investments, identifying key areas of concern and opportunity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate property performance, financial metrics, and market trends to assess risk exposure.
  • Develop and maintain risk models and analytics tools to monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies and investment decisions.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the investment committee, internal teams, and joint venture partners.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience across multiple real estate asset classes and a detailed understanding of key commercial drivers.
  • Well-developed ability to conceptualise and deliver complex financial modelling and feasibility analysis.
  • Property finance experience gained with a fund manager, corporate bank, investment bank, or property developer.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk modeling, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful risk management strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
