Our District Director for Medical Services is seeking to engage a qualified and highly organised Executive Assistant. The office of the District Director for Medical Services provides leadership in clinical service planning and models of care, and profession-specific leadership of the medical workforce.

In this position, you will be responsible for comprehensive high level executive management support to the District Director Medical Services. The role is complex and challenging and plays a proactive integral part in ensuring administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional, and timely manner whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing high level executive assistance and support to a senior executive including a proven capacity to operate effectively in a complex environment demanding confidentiality, flexibility and discernment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including oral and written communication.
  • Proven high level of organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload with discernment and flexibility, meet deadlines supported by a demonstrated capacity to exercise initiative and judgement and to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in preparing documentation (memorandums, agendas, minutes, letters, briefings, reports, presentations) ensuring high attention to details.
  • Experience using electronic records management system such as HPRM or Content Manager (CM).
  • Working knowledge of systems that support business processes including purchasing, recruitment and rostering functions.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. Ability to travel within the LHD in accordance with the position.
