What you’ll do

  • Analysis, design, and development of business-critical Trading Systems.
  • Taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
  • Optimise systems to improve performance and latency.
  • Collaborate with Technologists, Traders, and Quantitative Analysts to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Continuously improve the capability and reliability of the systems, using technology, automation, and optimisation.
  • Be committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies.
  • Meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

What we're looking for
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
  • A track record / knowledge / interest in trading, risk, quantitative or trading systems development is critical.
  • Exceptional C# development skills with extensive knowledge of design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, and performance focused on back-end development.
  • Solid experience in C++ on Windows or Linux would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of the full software development life cycle. Ideally with solid experience in an agile environment.
  • A knowledge of, or experience in trading, derivatives, risk, pricing and Greeks will be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with traders, quantitative analysts, and other software developers.

What we do

We are experts in trading essentially all listed financial products and asset classes, with a focus on derivatives trading.
