Volkswagen Financial Services Australia (VWFS) is a leading provider of competitive finance and insurance products to over 1200 retailers across Australia representing automotive brands within the Volkswagen Group including: Audi, ŠKODA, Bentley, Porsche, Ducati and Lamborghini and outside the Volkswagen Group - Jaguar and Land Rover. We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the Executive Manager - Product, Digital and Marketing, this role will support the product development within the MILES project which is rebuilding and replacing our core operating system.

What you'll do

Review existing Finance suite and ensure each product in the portfolio is rebuilt with the core operating system to mirror;

• Meets customer's needs and in line with VWFS' strategic goals,
• up to date with current governance and legal requirements,
• up to date with and in line with business security requirements,
• in line with VWFS' strategic goals and meet customers' needs,
• Act as the point of contact between Sales team and Operations on issues relating to product and process.

Work with Operations, Operational Excellence, Audit & Compliance to map product process and procedure - ensuring that these;

• conform to regulatory conditions
• Are as simplified as possible in a regulatory environment for customer and sales team fulfilment.
• Project participation as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

What you'll bring

• Tertiary qualifications in financial service or business related discipline.
• Working experience in the financial services industry.
• Product development and product management experience is essential.
• Proven analytical, process and problem solving skills.
• High level of attention to details and accuracy while working under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
