The Senior Structural Engineer role provides the opportunity to take charge structural integrity and structural remediation and materials handling projects within Mining / Mineral Processing.

The successful candidate will have an interest/demonstrated experience in being a conduit between clients and engineering teams, which will include the need for ad hoc site visits as determined by the project(s).

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelors of Engineering (Civil/Structural) Degree, recognised by the Institute of Engineers (Australia) 
  • Structural engineering experience from scoping studies through to execution
  • Proven leadership skills that would allow you to supervise the workload and professional/personal development of a team of engineers
  • Strong experience in structural integrity and structural remediation projects within mining mineral processing 
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop strong working relationships
  • Experience in collaborating with drafting department to produce drawing outputs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills for multiple concurrent designs in progress; ability to re-arrange and interrupt work
