THE ROLE:
The Warehouse Team Member is a key position within the Canberra Warehouse Team and is primarily responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising, and retrieving stock. This specific role does not require a forklift licence.

We are looking for 2 x Full Time Permanent employees

1 x Full Time Mat Leave cover position until 6th December 2024.

THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warehouse Team Member will be responsible for:

  • Accurate processing of orders.
  • Optimising packaging of orders.
  • Timely dispatch of orders to customers in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Compare shipping documents and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
  • Put stock away to correct locations safely and efficiently.
  • Process all returns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and data integrity.
  • Conduct regular checks of all relevant tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safe working procedures, processes and polices.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of WH&S procedures and principles.
  • Understanding of warehouse and distribution processes and technologies.
  • Experience with automated warehouse systems preferable.
  • Good oral/written communication.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • Previous experience with the use of RF scanners.
