Position Summary:
As a Senior Contract Administrator, based in their Brisbane team, you will play a crucial role in managing contracts for projects valued between $5M to $70M. You will oversee the end-to-end contract administration process, from the procurement of subcontractors to setting up projects contractually, managing variations, cash flow, and cost reporting. This role involves close collaboration with clients and reporting progress to the Operations Manager.
The initial project you will be allocated to will be based in Northern Gold Coast, therefore there will be periodic travel required for site visits, client meetings and engagement with consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed end-to-end contract administration for projects.
- Procure subcontractors and set up projects contractually.
- Manage project variations, cash flow, and cost reporting.
- Liaise with clients and report progress to the Operations Manager.
- Utilize COINS software or similar (Jobpac, Cheops, Procore).
- Manage a team of junior and intermediate CA’s and get the best out of them
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in Tier 1, 2, or 3 companies, or as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Overseas) on similar projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience with projects valued between $5M to $30M in sectors such as Health, Community, Government, Defence, Churches, Schools.
- Strong communication skills is a must, therefore fluent English is required both verbally and written.
