Merchandise Operations Managers are business critical, responsible for the optimisation of merchandise stock flow and financial performance along with the management of online fulfilment/click & collect, safety and compliance. Manage the day to day operations of the store ensuring compliance with merchandise from dock to floor/online, replenishment and shrinkage.

About The Role:
  1. Manage the logistics of all merchandise from dock to selling floor, ensure efficiency in stock flow, compliance and safety at all times
  2. Oversee merchandise support activities ensuring merchandise optimisation in store, online fulfilment and click & collect
  3. Maintain shrinkage strategy and manage implementation including communication, education, monitoring, review and support
  4. Actively drive a high performance, customer focused, service and selling culture
  5. Ensure compliance with processes to remain efficient, effective and streamlined
  6. Identify and champion the implementation of operational process improvements
  7. Lead, empower and inspire your team with a consistent focus on developing the next generation of Myer leaders
About You:
  1. Solid experience in a high volume store management or retail operations role is essential
  2. Experience in Logistics/Stock Flow within a retail environment
  3. Proven leadership skills with managing teams including training and upholding safety compliance
  4. Working knowledge of OH&S processes and practices
  5. Ability to analyze and interpret data, make informed recommendations and decisions
  6. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with influence to diverse teams
  7. Ability to drive our Customer First Strategy across a large format department store
  8. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and meeting deadlines
  9. Strong retail, financial and business acumen
