What You’ll Do
As a Government Grants Graduate, you will support companies across Australia to apply for Government Grants. You will learn about a range of grant programs offered by Federal and State Governments and work as part of RSM’s grants team to advise organisations and prepare applications.
The position provides exposure to a variety of industries, including engineering, advanced manufacturing, medical sciences, renewable energy, mining and resources, agricultural technologies, defence and community development.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to support the end-to-end preparation of grant submissions, including meetings and correspondence with clients, collating documentation, drafting applications and preparing supporting documents. Clear written communication is essential;
- Research a variety of funding programs and support the team to maintain an up-to-date awareness of State and Federal grants and related policies;
- Generate communications for publicising grant opportunities, both internally and externally;
- Assist with the development of standardised grants materials such as Engagement Letters and templates;
- Attend networking events and, with support from the grants team, build internal and external networks to facilitate Business Development opportunities.
You are an ideal candidate for this role if:
- You are currently studying towards or completed a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce, or Law;
- You have excellent writing skills;
- Integrity is one of your core values, and you hold yourself and those you work with to a high standard of professionalism and mutual respect;
- You are willing to travel to client sites across Australia;
- You enjoy client service and helping people achieve their goals;
- You are a self starter and a team player, and you can bring your unique skills and ideas to the table;
