About the role

We are seeking to recruit dedicated individuals who strive for best practice, are able to communicate well with people of all backgrounds and approach every situation with care and compassion. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Building strong connections with clients and their families
  • Perform duties in line with the Nursing Award - Registered Nurse Level 2
  • Organise support to clients with disabilities and monitoring and reporting on their progress
  • Referring clients to agencies that can provide additional help
  • Assessing client needs and resources for health, welfare and other facilities and services
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents and feedback as required
  • Re-organising work priorities to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting all clients to meet their goals
  • Conducting Client Care Assessments and Care Planning
  • Discussing and promoting Right at Homes services with medical professions and referral sources
  • Reporting to head office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Monday to Friday –8.30am-5.30pm
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
  • Experienced in assessing and planning care needs
  • Sound understanding of the Aged Care and Disability systems
  • A strong client focus which is based on their goals, preferences and needs
  • Current National Police Check
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW Full Drivers Licence
  • All candidates must have the right to work in Australia
  • Organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
