Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Hours: 16-24 hours per week
Basis: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: 12.00 - 15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
About:
My client are a dynamic and growing company seeking a dedicated Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join the finance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive experience in managing factoring/invoice discounting and proficiency in XERO and Sage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing factoring/invoice discounting processes.
  • Utilising XERO and Sage for daily accounting tasks.
  • Maintaining and updating financial records.
  • Managing and organising financial data using Excel, including complex formulas.
  • Assisting with credit control activities.
  • Providing support for general accounting functions and financial reporting.
  • Thinking creatively to solve problems and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • At least AAT Level 3 qualification.
  • Extensive experience with factoring/invoice discounting.
  • Proficiency in XERO and Sage.
  • Strong skills in Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
  • Credit control experience is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
