What does the job look like?

The National Inventory & Systems Manager is responsible for ensuring Linfox manages and maintains all Linfox and customer operating systems in an optimal manner, aligning functionality to requirements and providing education and training to primary and secondary system users.

This role is strategic and critical to ensure that the systems and resources available are scalable and utilised to provide inventory integrity and confidence to our customers as we increase warehousing capability to support the exciting growth trajectory. Key areas:

  • Provision of robust inventory management program across all Linfox facilities in line with contractual commitments
  • Development and maintenance of appropriate capacity planning models to provide assurance and enable efficient resource allocation and throughput
  • New customer integration, product slotting and inventory management supporting seasonality variance
  • Development and management of Inventory and Systems team members throughout the network
  • Proactive relationship management of new and existing customers, including reporting, tenders and technical expertise as required to provide superior service offerings
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote continuous improvement

Are you the one?

This is a pivotal role requiring a technical specialist with extensive experience within Warehousing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a wealth of experience providing capacity planning, system utilisation and inventory management leadership to provide operational efficiency. You can demonstrate: 

  • Expertise in various WMS and ERP, including SAP WM &EWM, and Access data base. 
  • Demonstrable experience managing large, SKU heavy Inventory
  • Ability to confidently lead and develop a high-performance team
  • Process driven, analytical and methodical with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Self-driven to achieve and drive outcomes on a daily basis
