About the opportunity:
You will provide a range of technical project management advisory duties supporting our clients in Defence and Govt, either on client site or back of office.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Defence Integrated Logistics Support Professionals to support upcoming Defence contracts in either permanent or contracting engagements.
You could be expected to:
- Participate in project workshops and stakeholder meetings as required.
- Contribute to the development of ILS strategies, concepts and plans.
- Provide specialist ILS analysis in particular FMECA, FTA, LORA, TAR, TNA.
- Draft responses for logistics related correspondence, briefs, and reports.
Highly Desirable:
- Proficiency in cataloguing newly-generated NSNs within MILIS or an ERP equivalent.
- Experience in reviewing and modifying inventory management information within MILIS or an ERP equivalent.
- Ability to facilitate the disposal of Cobra items by providing clear disposal directives to contractors.
- Skilled in setting up MILIS warehouses at contractor premises.
- Competence in monitoring stockholding levels of Cobra items across multiple warehouses and replenishing stocks by raising MILIS purchase orders.
- Knowledge of implementing AIMS for forecasting stockholding requirements for both X and R class items.
- Capability to assess requests from ships for restricted items and make informed decisions on item releases.
- Experience advising contractors on managing MILIS warehouses and providing support with governance and assurance issues.
- Proficiency in setting up APLCRATES records for Cobra items in accordance with finalised CSAR and exporting them to NAVALLOW upon completion.
